Liquid sodium acetate
① Main indicators:
Content: Content ≥20%, 25%, 30% Appearance: clear and transparent liquid, the byproduct water solution is clear and slightly yellow in color.
Sensory: no irritating odor. Water insoluble matter: 0.006% or less
58% solid to prepare 25% water solution:
According to the ratio of 1 kg of sodium acetate to 1.3 kg of water, the water temperature at room temperature is about 20 degrees, the dissolution rate is slower than 10 degrees.
The freezing point of 25% aqueous solution is about -10 degrees.
② Main uses:
The main role of liquid sodium acetate in sewage treatment is to supplement carbon source for denitrifying bacteria, train denitrifying sludge, and then use buffer solution to control the rise of pH value in the denitrification process within 0.5 range. Denitrifying bacteria can overabsorb CH3COONa, so the COD value of effluent can be maintained at a low level when CH3COONa is used as an additional carbon source for denitrification. At present, the sewage treatment of all cities and counties needs to add sodium acetate as carbon source if it wants to meet the discharge level I standard.
③ Delivery standard:
When the dosage of sodium acetate is 15mg/L, the outlet concentration of each parameter of the system can meet the “Discharge Standard of Pollutants from Urban Sewage Treatment Plant” GB18918-2002 Class A standard. When the dosage was 30mg/L, the phosphorus release rate of anaerobic section, phosphorus absorption rate of aerobic section and nitrogen removal rate of anoxic section were all high, which could reach 3.54 MgPo43-p /(g MLSS·h) 2.54 mgPO43–P/(g MLSS·h). And 1.53 mgNOx-N/(gMLSS·h). When the dosage of sodium acetate was 9mg/L and 15mg/L, denitrification and phosphorus removal occurred in the hypoxia section, and the phosphorus absorption rates were 0.36mgPO43–P/(g MLSS·h) and 0.02(mgPO43–P/(gMLSS·h), respectively. In summary, the system will be more stable and reliable when the dosage of sodium acetate is 30mg/L.
